Customized Card Game Manufacture with Neat Round Corners for 5000 Sets

Customer Requirements for Card Game:

1. All cards should be customized and printed with their own design
2. Each set packed into a lid & bottom box.

3. Cards have round corners which will be neat

Our Solution

We are specialized in customized game printing since 2008 and are definitely experienced on this with good quality. We will proceed as below steps,
– Clients provided us PDF files after approved the price and lead time
– Provided the low-res files via email for prompt review
– Made and provide hard copy of sample for printing approval
– Print the bulk and send advance samples for shipping approval
– Bulk shipment

While all the above request is not challange for us, we would like to share more options about corner. This seems not a big deal but will cause cost & quality difference.

Option 01: Rounded corner by punched is to round the edges of the cards during the card-making process to make them smooth and very neat. Since it required unique size of punch mould, it bring extra cost to unit price and a little bit longer lead time.

Option 02: Rounded corner made by die cutting. It will have no extra cost but the cutting position is not that smooth looking as it touches.

We made samples with above 2 options, punch or die cutting corners. We shared pictures and video with clients for understanding. After rounds of communications, we made the bulk as per clients’ final decision.
